Community fundraising

On Thursday 17th November at 7.30pm, Arisaig Hotel will be hosting a pop-up Swap Shop, where you are invited to bring at least one item of clothing with you and then leave with as many items as you like.  It is the perfect way to get your hands on completely free clothes and revamp your tired wardrobe.  Donations on the night will come directly to our refurbishment programme and any items of clothing that are left over will go straight to the Blythswood appeal.

Hopefully you’ll pick up a nice dress at the Swap Shop, which you’ll be able show off at ‘Hats, Gloves and Ties’ on the following Saturday 19th November.  Organised by the Friends of the Swimming Pool, a delicious afternoon tea will be served alongside music from 3pm in the Astley Hall, Arisaig.  All money raised will go to our refurbishment programme.  £3 for children and £6 for adults.

Keep an eye on our Facebook and Twitter pages for more information throughout November.

You can even help fundraise for the Leisure Centre refurbishment when you’re buying your groceries!  Members of the Co-op in Mallaig chose the Leisure Centre as one of their ‘local causes’, which means you donate money to the Leisure Centre every time you shop at the Co-op!  This is how it works:

If you’re a Co-op member, you can pick a cause (hopefully us) online or in the shop and from then on, every time you buy a Co-op branded product or service, 1% of the total will come directly to us!
